Sainte Radegonde Sculptural Ceramic Vase, France, c.1940s
Tres Sainte Radegonde, oui?
A vintage French ceramic vase by Sainte Radegonde, c.1940s, featuring a rounded vessel form, mottled turquoise-green glaze and distinctive folded white ceramic rim. The contrasting glaze and exaggerated undulating opening give the vase a highly sculptural profile.
Produced by Sainte Radegonde pottery in France, the ceramic body is finished in a heavily mottled green glaze with darker speckling, while the unglazed or pale-glazed upper section forms a continuous series of folded, ribbon-like curves around the opening.
