Antique tramp art lidded box, dated 1936, constructed using the traditional stacked and notched wood technique characteristic of early American folk art. The exterior is fully covered in chip-carved geometric patterning, with repeated layered carving across all visible surfaces. The piece sits on raised pedestal feet, a defining feature of higher-quality tramp art construction.

Era: 1930s (dated 1936).

Materials: Hand-carved wood, paper lining.

Condition: Antique; minor surface wear throughout, small chip to one front foot, stable chip/crack within lower front quadrant. Structurally solid.
