Murano Rostrato Glass Pendant Light, Italy, c.1930s-40s
More sharp edges than your ex.
Rare Murano glass pendant light dating to the 1930s-40s, executed in the rostrato technique, characterised by its distinctive spiked, textured glass surface. The piece features a hand-blown Murano glass body suspended from a gold-toned structure, in the manner of Barovier & Toso, one of the most recognised names in early Italian glass lighting. Designed with a single light point (E14 fitting), the form combines sculptural presence with soft, diffused light through the textured glass.
